CMC white paper – new version!

Aug 01, 2016

The Push ortho Thumb Brace CMC attracted a lot of attention at OT World. Judy Colditz, an internationally renowned hand therapist and co-owner of Handlab (the American distributor of Push Braces), was present at OT World and gave an interesting talk about CMC-1 arthritis and the use of the Push CMC. The new CMC white paper was also presented.

The recent White Paper is written based on years of experience with the Push ortho Thumb Brace CMC. It specifically answers questions most often raised by both medical professionals and end users as to how the brace works to stabilize the thumb CMC joint when it does not fully immobilize it. Enhancing the White Paper is reference to a scientific paper comparing the Push ortho Thumb Brace CMC to three other thumb CMC braces.

Judy Colditz herself was delighted to be present at the Push Braces stand at OT World. “The OT World Congress in Leipzig provided an inspiring hands-on experience of the current cutting edge technology in orthotics and prosthetics. The broad spectrum of European companies represented at the congress enhanced our knowledge of the state of the art of orthotics and prosthetics worldwide. Most of all, attending the congress amplified our appreciation of the design and functional quality of Push Braces, for whom we are a US distributor.”, Judy said.
