From 10 - 13 May 2022, the OTWorld conference took place in Leipzig; the orthopaedic technology sector’s largest get-together and the world’s most important meeting place for all manufacturers, dealers and service providers in the field of modern medical aids and equipment.
Along with parent company and distributor in Germany, Ofa Bamberg, Push Braces was present at the event and presented the new Push Aequi Flex ankle brace at its stand and in a workshop. This brace replaces the original Aequi Flex in our range and will be available alongside the Push ortho Aequi. The launch of the new Aequi Flex is a huge step in the innovation of Push Aequi ankle braces, a favourite amongst medical professionals since its launch in 1998.
The Aequi concept, with its medial shell and mediolateral anchor strap has been a great success for many years. We have named the innovative new Aequi Flex the ‘Flex-Protect’. The matching of the construction and materials are such that there is an interplay of flexibility and rigidity in a very slim construction with an optimised fit. The use of new technologies, such as an injection-moulded shell consisting of rigid and flexible components and very flat connections between non-elastic and elastic fabrics, result in a brace that is comfortable, fitting the contours of ankle anatomy, even during exercise.
